Murielle’s Place – Senior Dog Care/Sanctuary
A home-based, no-kill Rescue providing end-of-life care for senior dogs facing euthanasia because they are unwanted, abandoned or left behind when their owner dies. The dogs live out their lives on couches (not cages), receiving quality food, vet care, and lots of love from the all-volunteer staff. This organization is completely supported by donations.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a voluntary health organization that advocates for research and education around suicide. The organization's stated mission is to "save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.”

Their mission is to "create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth." Adult volunteers are matched with children from age 5 to young adulthood.
