About Me: Mary Ann Plummer

My early career in my late teens/early 20’s was filled with a variety of unique jobs: caterer, clothing designer, singing waitress, actor, and a professional singer.  For me, college happened in parallel with my full-time job and raising my son - at night & on weekends.

My corporate career consisted of 37 years in the insurance and healthcare industries - directing large organizations and complex projects in operations, systems reengineering, and clinical research.

This was also a time filled with unexpected (and unimaginable) loss: three younger siblings and my 13-year-old niece died. Then my son, Stephen, was killed in a head on collision - and time stopped.

I retired early after Stephen died. As part of my healing, I started studying Reiki – and began a journey filled with an abundance of synchronicities and miracles. I am now a Holy Fire III Reiki Master Teacher, Animal Reiki Master Teacher, and Animal Communicator.

I serve others as a Counselor-Healer, doing what I love: mentoring, teaching and healing.

I come from a long line of healers.  I am an empath, a HSP (highly sensitive person), an artist, a way-shower, an introvert, a nurturer, and a survivor.  I am connected to God – and to all things in the Universe (we are all One); and connected to my fellow souls - their innate goodness & desire for healing and wholeness.

And the true medicine I bring to the world is wisdom, intuition, healing and joy.

I am also an avid student of the arts, and I enjoy weaving and watercolor painting.  I live in the mountains of South Carolina with my husband Larry and our rescue dog, Bailey; and 3 rescue cats: Cassie, Toby and Stevie.
